10 Thames Bridges, 19th April

I have been eyeing up this ride, because I have nothing else planned that weekend. Anyone done it in previous years, or planning it for this? Are there hills? I think it's a fun idea - lots of bridges and river might make for a pretty ride.

I rode it two years ago. It's a very nice route, heading westwards to Henley then back towards Maidenhead. The scenary is good - you're mostly in the Chilterns - and I enjoyed crossing all the bridges & river.

Agreed, I did it last year and would recommend it.

Includes a control at a cafe in a country park about half of the way round.  Then close-up views of Ascot Racecourse and up through Windsor Great Park past the Smiths Lawn polo grounds before the last three bridges.

Sounds like fun.

It was. In fact, I might be there this year too.

I believe I'll eye it up too.
