Firefox update has lost all my bookmarks??

Goddamn blinking grrrrrrr!

Firefox updated itself and seems to have gotten rid of all my bookmarks in the process. Anyone know if there is a magical little file nestling somewhere that is keeping them all safe for me?

That happened to me when Firefox updated. I don't know what I did, but the bookmarks reappeared soon afterwards. I don't think I did anything but restart Firefox. Again.

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<something>.default\bookmarks.html

on my windows computer, well my bookmarks do, not yours
