There's only one way to find out - fight ride both (not possible this year).

Looking at Tchibo's website, medium-large. If your actual chest measurement is over 40", get L.

I usually take a UK large but my kraftwerk jersey is a medium

Err on the large side.

If the worst comes to the Wurst, use it as an overcoat.

The entry form says 1200/1500km, but I can't see any place in the form that says I'm entering the 1500 rather than the 1200. Can anyone enlighten me as to why its 1200/1500? Do you get 12 points if you pack at Koln?

That's a big box of fags, are they included free at controls with the beer?

err - how did you work that out? With my knowledge of German (i.e. none) and the use of Babel Fish I've got as far as completing the on-line registration. I'm now completely stumped as to how to pay the money and I've not even seen any mention of a passport photo or a means of attaching. ???

Help!

I'm German - and I even didn't find it too.

A friend gave me a tip for the money:
Kontoverbindung | Audax Club Schleswig Holstein von 2000 e.V.
This information was very hidden in the impressum.

Neben den Angaben bei der Anmeldung benötigen wir noch ein Passfoto (als JPG-Datei per E-Mail)

There is also a link on that page to Kontoverbindung (bank details).

[Edit] banks tend to charge a small fortune to transfer money. Last time some UK riders used alternative methods.

Hi everybody,

Just to say, I have just spoken to Heino the organizer and he has asked me if I would mind collecting the money for all you Auks.
He had a few emails telling him how steep the sending of money was.
He will be updating his homepage soon to this effect.
Sabine

Looks like I've persuaded the management that we both want to do this event next year after good reviews from those who rode last time so I've been having a look at possible ferries etc. As there is no direct ferry anymore? What do people think is the best route to get there other than flying.(routes via Italy not viable due to holiday restrictions :) )

Ideas?

Cheers

From your area I'd use the Newcastle - IJmuiden or the Hull - Rotterdam. From the Dutch coast there are lot's of trains to Berlin passing through, or close to Hamburg. If you book early via the German railways site you could get a ticket as cheap as 29 Euro. A biketicket is 12 Euro, a place for your bike has to be reserved.
Alternatively you could team up with some of the Dutch HBKH participants and travel together with them.

I've registered. Or at least I think I have.  :-\
Is registering simply a case of sending the form with name address club etc? I sent mine a couple of days ago, should I expect to hear anything back?
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

Just a small point regarding the rulebooks. Due to a conflict in Germany HBKH can't get LRM recognition.

will Lowlands 1200 be eligible?

Certainly. The LRM vice-president is one of the co-organisers ;)
As far as the first rumours are, the relevant authorities of AUK won't be bothered with the German conflict and accept HBKH for AUK points.
