Safe to park my bike there again?
« on: 02 October, 2009, 10:43:18 pm »
The last couple of nights I've been to Wythenshawe hospital to visit Maffie in the maternity unit.

Tonight when I came out, my bike was on the floor with the d-lock still around the top tube and around the bottom of the Sheffield stand. The rear reflector attached to the rear mudguard was snapped off and in shards all over the floor. Fortunately, other than a scratched pedal, no other damage was done.

The other sheffield stand is loose in it's footings and can be lifted up.

The cycle parking was quite well sheltered from the wind and the bike was well propped up when I left it.

Don't risk it again Dan.

Someone's looking . . .

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.
