3 Feet Please-Saving cyclists' lives

There's an American campaign to get more passing space.  Some states have put a minimum passing distance of 3 feet into law, which is popular.

I'm torn about the jersey design though.  Part of me loves the chunky industrial graphics; more of me detests the whole PPE thing and the grovel for space.

Maybe "Three feet, please" should be delivered with the same sardonic bite as "Nigga, please".  That would do it.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

I'd say it's meant to look "professional" or "serious" as opposed to "just another git who can't afford a car". Same effect though...

Anyway, there was a thread on the right-pondian version of this recently.

I read that shirt as 'please allow three feet (for me) between the edge of the road and you'
It is simpler than it looks.

That's exactly what I read it as too.  No thanks, for that design at least.

Like the campaign, hate the jersey.

Maybe we should run up a UK version?

Not what is meant, according to the site:

But, then there's the motorist and more must be done to educate them on the importance of sharing the roads we all own and giving us at least 3 feet of clearance when they pass us from the rear

The design (apart from the international legal inexactitude) is pretty grim, IMO.

I like that more!
