Look on the bright side, the Brooks looks useable!

Nope, looks just as agonisingly painful as usual.

I retrieved the bike this morning [well had it brought back for me :)]

Poor Ronnie is in a bad way :( :'( :'(

So far I can see the bent down and top tubes, the forks are twisted as well as bent back, the front wheel is buckled, the handlebars are bent and the mudguards are twisted.
Nah! Just the chain come off, that's all!!
This isn't just a thousand to one shot. This is a professional blood sport. It can happen to you. And it can happen again.

That'll polish out.

I can see why you came off though - the toe overlap looks a bit iffy on that.

No went back Tuesday but only helping office stuff and a bit of electrical diagnosis work on the computer and helping other techs with their diagnosis.
 Technical advice to customers etc.
Still no grip in either hand so I can't drive yet, legs are still stiff but I can walk without limping, bruising seems to have maxed out and in decline

Hi Mike
Slow but steady healing, the broken fingers are getting physio to stretch the movement clenching towards the palm and can just touch the palm with the tips.

Right hand with torn muscles is still weak but getting better, legs are OK but I think I might have a bit of glass stuck in my left knee there is a small lump that feels sharp under the skin  :o  so I'll book in to see the Doc next week.

Merry Christmas  ;D
Cheers Steve
