You'll be even sadder when you take a closer look and realise it's actually a Chieftan.  ;D

Subtle clues:

The stowage bins above the rear drive sprocket and rearmost pair of road wheels.
The gaiter around the gun barrel, just ahead of the distinctive snout of a Chieftan turret.
The commander's cupola.
The side skirts.
The two-tone camo scheme.

For future reference, MBT spotters...

Challenger and the Chieftan are very similar, the Challenger being a Chieftan upgrade that was intended for sale to Iran.

That fell through of course and guess what happened?

Yes it is a Chieftain.  The tank is situated at a ranch in Alberta, Canada.
