I am so very tempted.  Just had a look and am free on those days.  I will go if I don't have to go up the tower and if I can take my cashmere bed socks; a girl really shouldn't go anywhere without them.

I shall be there as usual. Camping with Fell Club members.

Mrs S says she wants to ride the 100km audax with me on tandem. She may have been at the sherry, but that sounds like a date to me. We will be there in one form or another.

It's so close it would be churlish not to go for at least some of it.
I'm planning on the 300k, No1Son will (probably) be doing the 100. Now, if only we knew a responsible adult who could guide him round...

You must be mistaking us for someone else ...

I am planning to be there.  When I get organised I will book a light camping spot.  I'm planning to got there on with a trailerfull as I don't fancy sticking the tent on the back of the bike I'd want to bring.  ('cos it's a 3 person tent and I still haven't bought anything smaller)

I'll either take Friday off or leave early (poets day nesspa).
I'll probably be on the 200.

Either that or I won't get organised at all.

I could take you or your stuff or both.....or we could share a tent again?

And ... ?

sounds like a good idea though.  Requires no organisation from me whatsoever (but I'll bring my own jarmies this time ...  :P )

That's a deal then... leave it to me.  You are more than welcome to share mine again should you forget yours.  And.... no more ...... in the middle of the night again! :-*

I think we're going to do this. Do people want to attempt to be in the same area again? From the website, it seems it might be difficult unless all bookings are sent in together...

Oh and hello pixie annie  :-*

Looks like I could do this. Are London folk going up on the 28th or earlier?

I am intending to go to the Mildenhall Rally this year but I am undecided which option to choose.

Option 1. Cycle the 100 miles there on the friday on my Dawes Super Galaxy complete with all my camping gear. Enjoy the event and dont do any serious cycling.

Option 2. Drive there with all my camping gear and my Mercian Audax Special and do the 300km Audax event.

I dont fancy audaxing on the Dawes because I am slow on it.
O'LEL what have I done!

That is generous of you Annie, although it seems unfair for you to do it again.

Jane, if I went I would take the afternoon of the Friday off and go then.

Would probably do the 100k at a slow pace as it was a nice ride last time, although I'm really not too fussed about the audax aspect of it myself.

Take the Dawes and do the Wowbagger option on the audax. :)

I've been reliably informed that this is good fun and that I should go.  I already know that the slow train to Ely works.  100k Audax in the Wowbagger style sounds right to me...

Emily and I are probably going to sample the Mildenhall Experience this year.  Still debating things like the "which audax" question, but if we cycle over there 1, we'll most likely stick to pootling round the 100.

1 and it does kind-of seem wrong not to.

I'm probably intending to be there - and do a WARTY which will not be the same as the 100k audax. I know a much better route back to Mildenhall than the audax does and there's the small matter of my title to defend. There's also one of the Best Pubs in the Geography of Anywhere.

I will happily defect to the WARTY if you are there Wow, I don't really 'get' most of the stuff that goes with audaxing anyway!

I think I'll be there. If I've got round a 600 I'll be audaxing and if not I'll have kind of given up mostly, and will come on a WARTY.
