It's been a good day so far.

You may remember the saga of my stolen custom bike.

Well, I've been to see that nice man Mr Hewitt to collect the bike after its Rohloff conversion.
My it looks good  :thumbsup: .
I think that it would be good use of my time to fit the pedals and lights and take it for a spin.
Pictures to follow.

The only negative is that changing a rear p*nct*r* looks like it will be an almighty faff because of the way they've had to fit all the gubbins for the torque arm, chain tensioner and the spacers to get the chain line correct.

Better fit Marathon Plus, then, to avoid punctures. ;)

Paul Hewitt showed me how to get the rear wheel off and he didn't make it look easy.
I did say to him "Think I'd best get a Marathon Plus on there".
I'm still laughing at that one  :(
