Count me in for a couple if 750ml or larger

PS - wasn't too impressed with the LEL one; mine leaked.

Don't most bidons leak? I'd love to get a leakproof bottle or three. David's latest screw-cap Adidas thing leaks.  :(

I have slightly fussy preferences. I like reasonably soft translucent polypropylene bottles. I don't like the hard plastic ones at all, and alu is right out.

Wide screw cap(so they are easy to clean).

My cheap Lidl alu bidon screw-cap came loose in my saddlebag on the Rattler last month.  Thankfully it only had water in and not sticky energy drink.  It demonstrated very well how waterproof these Carradice saddlebags are - it was dry as a bone on the outside.  ::-)

Totally wrong thread but what happened to the YACF banner suggestion?

Probably 6, 750ml preferrably. I'm stilll using the few ACF bidons that I have but they are all a bit worse for wear.
What's this bottom line for anyway?

I'd happily pay the going rate for YACF Camelback bottles rather than cheapy ones, but will order a couple whatever they end up being.

I am in this camp. There is little worse in life than a cheap bidon that tastes of plastic, leaks and has a crappy nozzle. Sorry to sound like a snob, but would happily pay the premium for something like podium bidons from camelbak.
Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!

I was going to post the same - the Camelbacks are twice the price of normal bottles, but four times as good.

They just don't leak, nor do they taste of plastic.

I'd buy a couple of YACF Camelbacks, even at a tenner each.

I'd probably have at least 5 or 6 but only if they were a) at least 750ml capacity and b) of decent quality. The rest, as they say, is window dressing.

Has Gonzo still got a secret supply of ACF bottles left over from when he did an order?

Just get a large letter "Y" in letraset and job done.

I've just had to google "bidon" to reassure myself that I know what you're all talking about.  :-[

Rather complicated, surely? Have you not got a big black marker pen?

It's like a bidet, only different.

My aunty had a bidet in the mid-70s - me and my sister had never seen anything like it, thought it was the height of sophistication and we used to turn it on full blast to try and get the jet to reach the ceiling. My parents told us it was for washing feet. I was well into my twenties before I discovered its actual intended use.  :-\

I asked Gonzo a bit back and they were done by Wildoo. I thought they were ok too.

2 for me as well but 750ml as min size as I get the 500ml ones from Beacon RCC This years ones were better quality than previous years with a wide top.
