Birthday Treat Basingstoke Canal

For my birthday treat the "BIG 60" my sister and her husband hired a narrow boat for the day never been on a narrow boat before or the canal, what a beautiful stretch of river.

It's great, isn't it, to go bimbling along at slower than walking speed!  It just seems like the 'right' pace, with everyone else rushing about.
