I'm making an African stew from the Vegan Society's recipe page, and okra with tomatoes.  Let's see if it works...

Flambéed (sp?) apple and banana as we felt like pud and that was all we could rustle up the ingredients for.

A huge conflagration impressed everyone and had me wondering just how much brandy one is actually supposed to ignite and pour.

Tasted fantastic and (almost) made up for the fact that Sunday lunch was meat-free (again)[1].

Chorizo and beef stew with baked sweet potato.

The shipping forecast for Manchester 22:00 until 06:00.

Cloudy, clearing south west. Gentle breeze, local Force 8 gusting Force 10.
Fog horns M24. 5 miles. Woah! doggy!

Just had chicken and beef fajitas with all the accompniaments, followed by toffee apple pie and custard.

TLD made the guac and it is now universally accepted that she is the Guacamole Kid....

I am now repleat and sat on the sofa dozing with a cheeky little glass of white wine, whilst Mrs T writes a note to the school and TLD plays on the DS, Peter Pan In Scarlet to follow....

Supermarket curry micro waved. It's not bad we had it last week too. The new cooker has arrived and I am building the kitchen units so hopefully by midweek we will be cooking real food again.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

I had a look in the fridge this morning and noticed that rather a lot of veggies were beginning to look rather sad/just about at their limit of usability.

Que immense1 chicken casserole.  Well, immense1 vegetable casserole with chicken.
Gas mark sod all while I did my 35 miler plus visit to THAT PUB.

I've just eaten 1/4 of it.  Wow!  You know how sometimes fridge casserole is just OK, and sometimes it really works.  Well, this is at the top end of REALLY WORKED

Urp!

I went out for tapas. to celebrate a mate's birthday.  Dreadful service, and half the menu was off, but the food was nice enough and we had a good time.  I did feel a bit like the staff should have left me a tip, since I did rather a lot of the fetching menus/getting jugs of water/clearing the table etc.  And I had a beer!  That almost never happens.

I played freezer roulette earlier and I won !
Tonight I shall be having some of the rather tasty paella that I made a while ago.
I selected tomorrow night's food as well when I was in there.
I still haven't identified it  ::-)
