Chicken in a tarragon sauce, broccoli, peas and asparagus (Peruvian, not English yet).

Fish pie!

Tomorrow night it will be beef stew.

I love having time to think through menus then shop accordingly!

Ox cheek eventually.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Inspired by Pancho and having a cauliflower to use up, I made baked cauliflower pizzaiola - most excellent it was too.

A take-away from the local Chinese place. Probably Chicken in yellow bean sauce with cashews, and I'll ask them to do the broccoli in hoi-sin sauce and garlic, instead of their usual oyster sauce. Plain rice. Might get a starter or some noodles and beansprouts.

Salmon en croute, with a "stuffing" of mushrooms, shallot, garlic, lemon, chives, dill and crime fraiche. Plus I layered in some thin aspragus.  Served with purple sprouting.  I'd hoped for some Jersey royals, but the farm shop only has marble sized ones at the moment. We'll manage without.

Had a very good Thai curry, ably assisted by my 12 year old.

Had oodles of veg, shallots, courgettes, peppers, beans, brocollis, pak choi, and a yummy squash.  They had spongy tofu, I had fish.

Mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Bean burgers. Not sure why as neither of us are veggie.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Roast chook.

It was yummy.

My roast chook is not quite roast - we should eat it at 10 o'clock when Himself returns from The Gym.

lunch was the big meal today.  Roast squash, oodles of saute'd veggies, veggie sausage rolls for the kids and jerked chicken for me. Yummy.

Breaded chicken breast (possibly with ham and cheese stuffing) with purple sprouting and Jersey Royals. Preceded by English asparagus.

A Cornish pasty. I have a gig tonight and I never trust the 'there will be food' information.

I bought a kebab from the van on the way home.  It was awesome.

Chicken and ham pie, molished from the rest of the roast chicken plus some ham from the dead food counter at Mr Tesco's Emporium. Just scoffed it and jolly good it was. And now ice cream.

Our main meal is lunch, so evenings it's a sandwich. Last night was 8" of baguette filled with Bleu de Bresse, iceberg lettuce and raw red onions, with a stripe of chilli barbecue sauce down the middle.  Monumental.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

A Delia recipe. Calves liver with "melted onions", in my case shallots and garlic in a reduced Marsala & balsamic vinegar sauce.
