Think I saw somebody in a YACF KotM jersey trundling down Brixton Road at just after 7:30pm.

Spotted about 15 mins ago, on Platform 10 of York Station, CrinklyLion and Eldest Cub returning from their camping jaunt.

I've somehow acquired more cake than I had when I set out....

Does Crinkley have 'in case of emergency break glass' cake packs?

otherdave and I were partaking of lunch in the caff at Fettercairn today when we espied the Pingus. Which was nice.
Hope you enjoyed the cakes.  :)
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

Unwrap clingfilm. You wouldn't want broken glass in the cake.

The absence of cake on a Crinkly ride IS an emergency.

It was much appreciated by us both, and there's a smidgen of the coffee left for this afternoon tea.

We enjoyed it while we watched a 1940's army training film on how to use a Scammel to pull tanks out of bogs.

I spied a red YACF shirt going round the track at Herne Hill this morning, supported by a pair of Dulwich Paragon shorts: Dulwichrider perhaps?

I'm almost sure that I caught a fleeting glimpse of Charlotte on some television show last night, can't remember which one.

A KOTM YACF shirt partaking of lunch at The Old Smithy Monyash yesterday about 1pm as I drove past on the way home from a week in the Peaks. I did ride there but that means going right through Derby which is OK but.....
Did have a trip up Winnats on Wed though which was a hoot!

I enjoyed mine, anyway. Although I was slightly sad that I didn't have room for any of the tasty looking cakes after lunch at Castleton fruit farm  :P

I was there at around 07:50 this morning.

Deserted, apart from a pair of lone lappers.

No YACF apparel to be seen :(

A cheerily waving CrinklyLion and a very smiley EldestCub (I think the SmallestCub may have been there too, in the pushchair, I didn't see as we, um, whizzed past), as we returned from the afternoon round, down Fossgate. I hope they were under cover when it rained shortly afterwards....

Son #2 greeted me on my return home on Friday evening by looking at the back of his hand and reading out a description that he had jotted down in biro of the cyclist he had seen while waiting for the bus in Penge:  "long hair, jersey with lots of black and white and red, dulwich paragon shorts...".  Not on the penny though...
