ADENDUM: The Seahouses one is Springhill Farm, not the Lookout.

ALthough I've voted (surprisingly enough for the one I can cycle to from home :)) I don't really mind any of them to be honest :)

Hucklow is not far ftom the Edale line.

Hexham has its own station.

Seahouses - Alnmouth, I would think.

Carlisle?

There's a station at Settle.

I would think, at a guess, that Seahouses is the furthest from a station, but that's probably only about 15 miles.

About 5 miles from Hope (on the Sheffield-Manchester line) to Great Hucklow.

For Bluebells, Carlisle station is probably closest, although Brampton would be as good and wouldn't involve as much urban riding (not that there's much of that in Carlisle really).

It's actually on the route we were going to take last weekend if we hadn't diverted to Tesco so that everyone could go to the loo.

Of course urban (or at least main road) riding might not be as undesirable as usual when you're trying to get somewhere in icy weather...

I voted for Seahouses - it'd be a great time to be up in Northumberland.

It's a bit far from the station by comparison with the others, but what a ride. Potential comedy off-roading across Alnmouth Dunes :D

I know - so I wouldn't mind if it was somewhere else.

There is a two-hourly bus from Newcastle to Seahouses, too...

Count me in whichever wins. I've voted for Gibbs Hill on the grounds that the next village is called Twice Brewed, it serves food all day and it's the only place of the 5 of which I have no experience whatever.

I have never been to Northumberland and am sorely tempted. However its a bit of a bugger if you are located in Cornwall.

actually Cornwall to Northumberland is straightforward logistically on the train.

£-wise it may be  :'(

When did you move to Cornwall?

I think Canardly is confused. He lives in St. Ives, but it's not the Cornish one. ;)

I can't vote on account of not having even been remotely near any except the one in Derbyshire. I'll be happy to go wherever :D.
