Removing Multiple Images/Hyperlinks Word 2008 Mac

Having copy and pasted some text and images from a web page into Word 2008, I want to remove the images/hyperlinks altogether and just end up with text. I can do it individually by CTRL click CUT. But there's hundreds of the blighters >:( and I've done my head in trying to Google a solution. Help please?

Can you use "Paste Special" and select "Unformatted Text"?
