I'd like some decent shoes for work. Actually I tend to prefer chukka boots or similar, but anyways. I'm getting a bit fed up not being able to find shoes that can be resoled easily. I've had three or four pairs of shoes recently that had to be thrown away with loads of life left in the uppers, but with soles which the cobbler sadly told me could not be repaired or resoled due to the construction.
Any suggestions, or perhaps experience of genius shoe repair services who can place a new sole unit onto a decent upper?
