Didn't have an opinion until the Djerk's anti-vaccination idiocy last year.

Nadal is not my favourite tennis player, due to Operación Puerto, but the other one is a dangerous loon, so he ranks even lower.

Well done Jack Draper. But only 90 ranking points.

He is rather, isn't he. And Ryan Penniston won too.

I rather suspect that that was the last time we'll see Serena Wiliams at Wimbledon. And having watched some of the match, it was far from the "thriller" of the BBC headlines. I'll not be sorry though, her dreadnought style of tennis never appealed to me, despite her evident skills.

Not particularly sorry to see her disappear from the scene either.  Boring dominance and a litany of unsporting behaviour throughout her career.  Her behaviour at the 2018 US Open was especially unedifying.

I'm waiting for the obligatory tabloid photo of his wife/girlfriend watching, headlined "THE JUBB JUBB BIRD".

Too highbrow for British tabloids.

It never ceases to amaze me how bad Wimbledon are at filling the seats, particularly on the show courts.  It is rather galling to be watching on TV, unable to be there, but seeing so many empty seats, even on the show courts.

They're not bad at it - not everyone with a show court ticket spends all tgheir time there watching a match, they'll wander around the outside courts too, plus go and eat etc.  And then there are debenture holders who don't always go or sell-on their seat, and some no-shows. All the seats are paid for, so they can’t just let folk in to fill them up.

Anyway, well done Katy!

Kyrgios v Tsitsipas, & press conferences, are worth watching for a bit of drama & good tennis.

Just noticed, the Wimbledon mixed doubles final is being played today (Thursday). A continual downgrading of the discipline, I wonder how long it will continue.

Three sets maximum...

It's been that for ever with the mixed. At least here they get to play a proper final set, outside of the slams it's 2 sets and a "Champions Tiebreak" to 10 (I think) in place of a final set.
