I'm not in the slightest bit organised for this, my first 25TT last night and an evening watching the Pantani movie tonight are probably not the best preparation for a) my legs and b) getting stuff ready.

Plenty time tomorrow evening...at least my bike is clean(ish).  The weather forecast looks to have changed quite a bit since earlier in the week when it was supposed to be dry and with little wind.

Looking forward to it

Surprisingly, no sarky comments from me. Just go an enjoy it, hope it goes well for you.

But you really should have entered the Tayside Transgression instead, cos we iz getting a selection of Fine Pehs.
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

Just finishing off the final packing, Cafes and the two catering  stops  primed  and  ready  to go. Porridge Danish pastries, Soup, Bananas, Macaroni Cheese and Beans on Toast await your arrival - Not all at the same time.
Weather not bad, light rain late morning brightening  later. Winds  East  to  North Easterly, which will blow you to Penrith. Cross head  up to Newcastleton. Will the wind drop later on for an easy finish?

Now then, you know that you and macaroni cheese do not go well together.

Oh aye, just as well you reminded me...for the sake of others  ;D

That's me eventually got a bike sorted out and in my car; I'm not even sure how much climbing is on the route nor how long it's likely to take me as it's 6 years since I completed a 300.  Which kind of makes riding 3 x 300s and a 600 in the next 5 weeks a bit silly, especially as the weekend I am not riding I am getting blootered at ACDC and Madness tribute bands on successive nights.  ;D

Right, now where's my shorts and jersey - and shoes, must not forget my shoes...

Everybody back last night safe, well and in good  time. Tough one with  the  same  sort of  weather on the  way  back home that made  the Hartside 'interesting'

Thanks aidan and all the volunteers for a great day, the use of parish halls were good. Nice and peaceful!

The views were. . . well, it was good on the other side of hartside towards penrith.

Thanks for the organisation Aidan, the free booze at the end was a welcome surprise.
