I have had my first foray in fixed today. 5 miles around the home lanes of that nice man Alan to see how I get on with fixed cos he's gonna lend me his lovely Langster for a while.

A fantastic act of generosity on his part before I commit hundreds of pounds of my hard earned cash to become the Lancashire Fixie Chick!

I loved it  , I even got to the top of a hill first, didn't fall off, didn't have a clipless moment and only had one small incident when I wasn't sure which way we were going but managed the bike ok and came to a stop at the kerb
