Plastic bread bag clips.

Ring pulls that you could put inside the can before drinking (if you dared).

Tall milk bottles (the current style was called "Pintie" when it came out).

"Jugs" in pubs - still sometimes seen above the bar, but very rarely used.  The opposite of Jack Carter's "in a thin glass!"

The once-ubiquitous "earthing strap" dangling off the back of cars, generally Austin Maxis.  I couldn't even find a picture of one of these, although this is the sort of vehicle that would have used one:

Yeah, I know it's not a Maxi, but I couldn't resist the picture ;D  Note where the Land Rover Discovery got its door handles.

And the original Range Rovers.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

My local bakery still uses them.  It's old fashioned round here.

Wrights Yorkshire Pies -- sob. Wrights were a large chain of butchers in and around York up until sometime in the 90s. They had a processing place on the A19 near Skelton. Their Yorkshire pie was a single serving pie that came in a foil base rather like your average steak pie. No idea what was in it and that's probably best but it was some kind of minced meat and vegetable and it was peppery. One of these with baked beans was my favourite tea when I was a lad. Unfortunately Wrights are no more a victim of the supermarkets.

Nothing to do with Wrights pies of Stoke On Trent then?

New shirts whose collars rub your neck raw.

Chillblains. What happened to them, eh?

"Warlord" and "Battle" politically incorrect comics for boys.  I learned all my German from them.  Hande hoch!

They aren't "comics".

They are training manuals.

storage heaters
Olde Jamaica sweet tobacco
Corona bottles (my first ever LP Aladdin Sane was financed from taking back empties of these)
The lorries that used to deliver said bottles door to door
returnable soda syphon bottles (7s6d IIRC)
LED watches you had to push a button to tell the time
postal orders
Gestetner (a promitive photocopier that resulted in a lot of ink stained paper and fingers)
8 track
RCA vinyl videodiscs

That's the best-looking Allegro you'll ever see.

White dog poo - first the dog food got preservatives so it went white slower, then people cleaned it up.

Dial up modems.
Those bras that turned boobs conical.
Typewriters.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Chocolate cigarettes - the best ones had a tiny hole in them and if you blew through them they gave out a puff of icing sugar "smoke".

They were banned, I can't think why...
