GN (of sorts): I'm seriously considering re-starting my OU studies after about five years away from it.
BN: I've pretty much missed, or am at least right on top of, the deadline for registering for Autumn '15 modules.
BN: They've withdrawn the degree path I was studying towards.
GN: I can hopefully reuse quite a few of my previous modules on the replacement degree path.
Really BN: OU course fees have skyrocketed (part of why I stopped before). I'm looking at the pointy end of £6-7,000 for the four courses I'd need to do.
I'm going to ring them tomorrow to ask if I can wangle some kind of credit transfer to avoid the level one courses that've changed. I completed all of the level one and level two courses I needed on the old pathway, and really don't want to have to spend four grand and two years essentially repeating introductory material I've already passed.
After that, it's two more level three courses and then boom, second degree
