May I grumble about my "cyclist legs" please.Well, they fit well around the waist; I can get my bits in without looking stupid or that I have a hamster down here and the leg length is fine. However, as the muscles at the top of my legs are rather large from cycling, the trunks are really tight around that part of my body. So much so, they are really uncomfortable and I doubt I can wear them for more than a few minutes without cutting off blood supply to my lower legs. Sigh, I suppose I will have to buy a larger pair which are likely to fall off when I am swimming leaving me looking rather stupid in the deep end.
Kim, you are very bad!
Nottingham is an impostor.
They're equally suprised to learn you can't ride a horse from Dover to Nottingham via Hadrian's Wall in four hours.
My desk thermometer says we have 23 degrees of Mr Celsius's bits of warm. So why are we wrapped in scarves, shivering and considering going out for fingerless gloves and wheat bags?

He's a mammalogist who'd proved his Antarctic-worthiness by living in a motor caravan for six months studying badgers in the Highlands of Scotland (and other places, mostly remote) for an MSc (or maybe it was a PhD). It was that experience that persuaded him not to apply!
Just noticed I've worn a hole in my Humvee cycling trousers. Looks like where they'd rub against the saddle.
